How SitzPlan works
Choose from 13 preset classroom layouts – including traditional rows, U-shapes, herringbone and the Aprendarium – or create your own arrangement. Use the comprehensive visual editor to enter room dimensions, add furniture and position your desks. Group, move and rotate them freely.
Scan your class list directly in the app and import the recognised names after a quick check. This saves you typing them out. Alternatively, paste names from text or enter them by hand. Then assign the appropriate rooms to your class.
Who should sit together, and who should sit apart where possible? Who needs a seat nearer the front? Set the preferences that should be considered when assigning places.
Generate seating suggestions and review which one suits your class. You can then change individual places and share the finished plan as a PDF or image.

Seating plans and the recognition of scanned names are processed directly on your device. You do not need an account for these features.
